A New Base for Cooper Lighting Bollard Development. The cast aluminum base that comes with the bollard fails to withstand Michigan winters. Excessive oxidation occurs due to sidewalk salt, followed by brittleness, making it vulnerable to being knocked over by a snow blower. Print Settings: Printer Brand: FlashForge Printer: FlashForge Creator Pro Rafts: Yes Supports: No Infill: 90% Notes: Printed with a FlashForge Dreamer, using Hatchbox Black ABS 1.75MM at 235 nozzle temperature and 110 bed temperature. Post-Printing Results: Top view of final print shows a solid structure. Side view of final print reveals a sturdy base. Due to warping issues with the ABS material, significant sanding was required to achieve a flat surface. The raft refused to detach, but fortunately, a sharp wood chisel and belt sander were available for removal.
