BolivAIR Mask Remix for the Deaf

thingiverse

A friend recently brought to my attention the difficulties faced by people in the Deaf community due to most masks currently available, which often feature filters or fabric that block the mouth, rendering lip reading impossible. This design allows for a clear film to be installed directly in front of the mouth, while placing filter material on either side. To reimagine this concept, I decided to split the mask in two and make modifications before mirroring it to complete the mask. By doing so, one half features right-handed bolts, whereas the other half boasts left-handed bolts. I have added R and L labels to both the bolts and their corresponding covers to avoid any confusion that might arise.
