Bokeh Lens Cover - Heart
thingiverse
If you hate hearts but love Batman, here's a 1966 Batman bokeh lens cover I made in memory of Adam West who passed away recently. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2390662 Edit 6/16/2017 (1): Added a 58mm Nikon 50mm F1.4 lens version of the heart named Bokeh_Cover_Nikon_58mm_F1.4_60mm_Heart_v2 which fits perfectly on my 60mm B+W UV filter, not too tight, not too loose. Edit 6/16/2017: Uploaded a replacement version of the cover. The old version went overboard with fillets so the handle snapped off easily. Only one person downloaded the original version (sorry!), but I hope that one person is going to be like "Handle? That's the thing I hated about this design. It just snaps off? Awesome!" Otherwise, hopefully that person will download this new version and the handle is not only twice as thick but it's connected 100% around its edges. To quote GlaDOS from Portal: >When I said "deadly neurotoxin," the "deadly" was in massive sarcasm quotes. I could take a bath in this stuff. Put it on cereal, rub it right into my eyes. Honestly, it's not deadly at all... to *me*. You, on the other hand, are going to find its deadliness... a lot less funny. I made something. Really! I was looking at the following thing and I printed it! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2142662 It was fantastic for making a heart-shaped topping on coffee - or on anything, really! I wouldn't recommend using it on hot lava. It might melt. I then looked at it and it looked a whole lot like this thing I made out of cardboard and duct tape years ago to tape over the end of my high-end DSLR to make pin point lights turn into heart shapes! https://www.flickr.com/photos/theamarand/3164779001/ Of course, the version I made back in 2009 was crude and cut-out with scissors by me. I then looked at it again and it looked a whole lot like this thing I made out of cardboard and duct tape years ago to make pin point lights turn into heart shapes! https://www.flickr.com/photos/theamarand/3164779001/ Of course, the version I made back in 2009 was crude and cut-out with scissors by me. Here's what I'm offering: 1) If you love the heart but for some reason have a different size lens or whatever just send me pictures of the end of your lens/filter give me specs the make and model of the lens and the filter and I'll try to work something up for you. 2) If you have this lens and you want a different symbol please let me know what symbol you'd like. I can make a square. I can make a circle. I could probably make an oval. If given enough time, I could make various stars. 3) If you want say a dog paw print bokeh and you have a different lens we'll have to do both 1 and 2 above. To summarize: New bokeh gets a new Thing, new lens/filter alone sticks with the same bokeh Thing.
