Boitier porte automatique poulailler
thingiverse
This project aims to automate the door of my chicken coop. **Features:** - Energy self-sufficient, solar panel charges battery with TP4056 and system management is low-power - Check luminosity with solar panel and open or close the door (no real-time clock needed) - Solar panel 6V 330 mA - Geared-Motor AC is driven with specific H MOSFET bridge IC - Microcontroller is an Atmega 328P standalone internal 8mhz 3.3v - Low battery LED warning - Door blocked detection - Selector to activate manualy door (forced to open, automatic, forced to close) - Limit switches to detect opened or closed state of the door - Cost approximately 60 € taxes excluded **Power supply:** System consumption in standby mode is approximately 250µA (approximately 99.99% of time). When motor is activated, consumption is 25-35 mA during approximately 60 seconds. When Atmega wakes up, consumption is maybe 3-5 mA during a few milliseconds. During the day, average charging current is 10-15 mA. It's very good for this low-power application. In my situation, solar panel is never directly exposed to sunlight. On top part, I used a part of hot glue stick with diameter 7mm to make an LED diffuser. All screws are M3.
