A Simple Box for My Stoots Caldera Lamp I needed a rugged box to house my Stoots caldera lamp, perfect for caving or trail adventures with double 24w batteries. I designed the low-profile box and the couvercle (hinged lid) to be easily assembled using a rubber cut from an old mountain bike tube. The design protects the two 18650 batteries from impact shocks. To secure the batteries in place, simply attach the couvercle to the main body of the box with two small screws. To print the parts, use your favorite 3D printing material and settings. Assemble the box by sliding the rubber grommet over the tube and attaching it to the main body using a few strategically placed screws. The entire process is straightforward, and you'll be enjoying safe and reliable lighting on your next adventure in no time!
