Boise Ear Saver

Boise Ear Saver

thingiverse

A new design of ear saver is making waves, supporting medical face masks without putting weight on your ears. This innovative ear saver cradles the top of a person's head and applies even distributed pressure to their head, just like a ball cap. It fully supports the face mask without any pressure to a person's ears. The design emerged from a pressing need to make wearing a face mask as comfortable as possible for people wearing masks all day long. A person can wear a ball cap or other hat over the ear saver with no discomfort. I've added a second STL file, doubling the height of the buttons for looping the mask string over. This tweak ensures that thicker masks with bulkier material for the loops stay securely in place on the taller buttons. A fresh update has arrived - an 8-inch center-to-center version is now available for children and smaller people. I've also made it with even taller buttons to simplify attaching the mask. Let me know if you're pleased with these updates.
