This monster is an unusual specimen. It dwells near the habitats of territorial and ferocious creatures. The Boglith moves at a sluggish pace, but can unleash bursts of speed when threatened or in pursuit of injured or slow prey. Its unique ability lies in its capacity to dig backwards into walls and cover an entire doorway with its mouth. When it senses potential prey approaching, such as a party fleeing from a creature's lair, it opens its doors and releases a gas that disorients potential prey into believing they are entering a safe exit or means of escape. Once it recognizes prey has passed through the doorway, it shuts the door so securely that even the strongest warriors cannot break free. Victims then meet a gruesome fate as hundreds of sharp teeth inside the creature's mouth tear them apart.
