This old Bogen tripod is sturdy enough to bear weight, and I highly recommend it; however, I'm transitioning to Manfrotto 501 QR plates. Combining this print with support may take time for removing excess material, but it's worth the effort. Utilize Rukey's original bolt-based knob file (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:29740) and my adapted 501 part, which was inspired by Zgbot's design. Note that while mine has withstood stress testing, individual results may vary.
