Bogen / Manfrotto 3603 quick-release plate

This is a quick-release plate for a Bogen (Manfrotto) model 3063 tripod head designed specifically for easy attachment and detachment of camera equipment. There are STL files available for four different types of plates: A) A plain, blank plate ideal for attaching cameras with standard mounts. B) A standard 1/4 #20 camera thread bolt that prints with a wing-nut, allowing for secure camera attachment. C) A GoPro mount for easy attachment of GoPro cameras to the tripod head. D) A GoPro quick-release, designed for fast and secure removal of GoPro cameras from the tripod head. Print Settings: To ensure successful printing, it is recommended to use support material when printing the GoPro quick release. This may require additional cleanup but results in a better fit. For all other options, supports are not necessary. Additional Tips: It's also recommended to file and wax all moving parts after assembly for smooth operation. Design Overview: The STL files included with this design are from previous projects listed here. These files are imported by the SCAD file, which allows users to modify and customize the design using OpenSCAD software.
