Carnivorous plants thrive in boggy, damp soil - simply by placing a pot in about 1-1.5" (25-35mm) water will keep them well-maintained. Since small flowerpots often lack deep saucers, I created an integrated one to meet their needs. Using a "self-watering planter" would have been another option, but it wasn't necessary. Print the design in a material that can soak up water all day long, such as PETG or ABS. Fill the bottom with water and add more from the side or top - weekly maintenance should suffice. I print these designs using large nozzles and tall layers: 0.75 nozzle, 0.3mm layers. Transparent PETG looks amazing, but be cautious when slicing it - aim for walls-only, no infill (S3D does this exceptionally well). I also added a saucer and a hanging version to the design, which has been a hit with carnivorous plant enthusiasts. The "B-52" is actually a specific breed of Venus flytrap that I'm particularly fond of. If you have any requests for future projects, feel free to reach out!
