Designed to carry six passengers, or a mix of crew and cargo, on missions to low-Earth orbit, the CST 100 was created for efficient use. For NASA service missions to the International Space Station, it will transport up to four NASA-sponsored astronauts and time-sensitive scientific research equipment. The spacecraft boasts an innovative, weld-free structure and can be reused up to 10 times with a six-month turnaround period. It also features wireless internet connectivity and tablet technology for crew interface purposes.
