The Stratojet model is nearly life-sized and fully textured; numerous features are animatable such as ailerons, flaps, rudder, elevators, main and tail landing gear, and doors. The detailed cockpit can be viewed from the outside. This model comes in multiple formats. The Boeing B-47 Stratojet is a long-range, six-engine jet plane designed for high-speed, high-altitude flight; its primary mission was to drop nuclear bombs on the Soviet Union but was also adapted for other tasks. The initial B-47A, delivered in 1950, were strictly evaluation aircraft, while the B-47B featured jettisonable external tanks and nose windows, with 399 units built. A reconnaissance variant, the RB-47E, also existed.
