The highly detailed P-8 Poseidon model closely resembles its real counterpart. A Bombay door under the forward fuselage opens to reveal three ADCAP torpedoes, while four Harpoon Missiles are mounted beneath the wings. The aircraft is equipped with numerous radio antennas and has animateable features such as ailerons, flaps, rudder, elevators, landing gear, landing gear doors, torpedo bay doors, torpedoes, and turbines. This military aircraft was developed for the United States Navy as a versatile replacement for the P-3 Orion, performing anti-submarine warfare (ASW), anti-surface warfare (ASUW), shipping interdiction, and electronic signals intelligence (ELINT) duties.
