This model was built near to scale and includes the textures and livery you see here plus more. Model is fully textured with all materials UVW mapped and applied. Most materials are planar mapped and major materials include texturing. These models render very well and look very realistic using good animation and rendering technique. It can be used in an animated or static position within an animated video or possibly for programming for a flight simulation application. This model was not designed for 3d printing, these are digital files only. The models come in several formats. Exported formats are prepared well to work correctly when used in the application aligned with the format of the export Many animateable features are included like landing gear, landing gear doors flaps, flaperons, rudders, canopy, missiles and propellers on the electronics packages. Missiles can be launched, and external fuel tanks can also be dropped. Realistic BRUs are built for the pylons to give you realistic bomb and missile loading. Lots of details are in the cockpit. This model also comes with AGM-88 x 2, AN/ALQ99 Electronics Pod x 2, ECM Pods on the wing tips. And 2 x 480 gal external fuel tanks. These models also include paint schemes very much similar to actual electronic warfare units of the US Navy. The Growler is a development of the Grumman F/A-18 F Super Hornet. It is a development for an electronic warfare aircraft. It is used to create jamming of tracking and communications systems of the enemy and give electronic cover to allied attacking aircraft. It has already been upgraded since the beginning of the program and is likely to be ugraded again with the capabilities to allow jamming and still allow voice communications between its allied aircraft. Its performance is much the same as the FA-18F Super Hornet.
