The Stratojet model is nearly full scale and textured, featuring animateable elements such as ailerons, flaps, rudder, elevators, main and tail landing gear, and doors. As a long-range, six-engine jet bomber, the Boeing B-47 Stratojet was designed for high-speed, high-altitude flights with its primary mission to drop nuclear bombs on Soviet targets. Adapted for other missions, the B-47A debuted in 1950 as evaluation aircraft, while the B-47B included jettisonable external tanks and nose windows (399 built). The RB-47E served reconnaissance purposes.
