The B-17 is a meticulously designed model, almost life-sized and intricately textured. It features animateable parts such as flaps, ailerons, landing gear, landing gear doors, elevators, rudder, bomb bay doors, turret guns, and animated propellers. The HP version offers a detailed cockpit, radio room, bomb bay, navigator station, waist gunners' station, and bombs. Both versions display highly-detailed landing gears; the HP variant also has elaborate engine details. This Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, a four-engine heavy bomber from the 1930s, was mainly used by USAAF in WWII's strategic bombings against German targets. The final version, B-17G, incorporated all the changes made to its predecessor, B-17F.
