The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress is a meticulously detailed heavy bomber aircraft model, near to scale and fully textured. It features animateable components such as flaps, ailerons, landing gear, landing gear doors, elevators, rudder, bomb bay doors, turret guns, and animated propellers. The HP version boasts a complex cockpit, radio room, bomb bay, navigator station, and waist gunners' station; it also includes bombs. Both versions are available in multiple formats and showcase detailed landing gear. Originally developed in the 1930s, the B-17 was predominantly used by the USAAF during WWII for strategic bombing against German targets. The final version, the B-17G, incorporated all changes made to its predecessor, the B-17F.
