The Boeing AH-64 Apache, a four-blade, twin-engine attack helicopter featuring tailwheel-type landing gear and tandem cockpit for two crew members, was initially known as the Model 77 by Hughes Helicopters for the US Army's Advanced Attack Helicopter program to replace AH-1 Cobra. First flown on 30 September 1975, it entered U.S. Army service in April 1986. Texture files are designed for seamless importing into gaming using C4D, Autodesk Showcase, and Vue 11, although these renderings may not reflect other programs or engines.
