In October 2016, this Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner model underwent an upgrade featuring enhanced windshield, fuselage, engine detail and geometry. Textures were also significantly modified to boost realism and appearance. The scale of the model is approximately 99% accurate based on actual dimensions. It features animatable components such as landing gear, landing gear doors, rudder, elevators, ailerons, flaps, engine turbines, beacon and navigation lights, making it suitable for in-flight animation, video or simulation use. Furthermore, the model can also be employed to enhance airport scenes. It is available in multiple formats and liveries, with an upcoming 787-9 version expected in a few months. The Boeing 787-8, the base model of the 787 family and smallest variant, is a long-range, mid-size wide-body twin-engine jet airliner seating 210 passengers in a three-class configuration. It was the first 787 variant to be introduced in service in 2011, with additional variants including the 787-9 on the production horizon.
