The Boeing 777 is a family of powerful long-range twin-engine jet airliners designed to carry large numbers of passengers over vast distances. A longer version of the aircraft, the 777-300, was specifically engineered to replace older models like the 747-100 and 747-200. The very first -300 made its way to Cathay Pacific back in 1998.
