The model is designed close to actual size, featuring all materials and textures, provided in numerous airline liveries. Animateable components include landing gear, doors, rudder, elevators, ailerons, flaps, turbine engines, beacon and navigation lights. The Boeing 757 was launched in the early '80s to replace aging 727s; it's an efficient two-engine aircraft carrying 180 passengers over 5,000 miles non-stop. Airlines favored this single-aisle plane with a middle aisle layout. The stretched 757-300, the longest single-aisle twinjet ever built, began service in 1999 with Condor.
