The model closely replicates actual dimensions and features multiple materials and textures. It offers animateable parts such as landing gear, landing gear doors, rudder, elevators, ailerons, flaps, engine turbines, beacon and navigation lights, and is available in several formats. Boeing created the 757 in the early '80s to replace aging 727s, resulting in an efficient two-engine aircraft carrying 180 passengers over 5,000 miles. The initial version, 757-200, was launched with Eastern Air Lines in 1983 and offered a single-aisle seating layout.
