It features animateable components such as landing gear, doors, rudder, elevators, ailerons, flaps, engine turbines, beacon and navigation lights. The Boeing 757 was developed in the early 1980s to replace aging 727s, offering efficient two-engine passenger flights carrying up to 180 passengers over 5,000 miles non-stop. The single aisle layout appealed to airlines and the original 757-200 model debuted with Eastern Air Lines in 1983.
