The model is constructed closely adhering to actual standard dimensions and comprises all materials and textures. It is available in various airline liveries and features animateable parts such as landing gear, landing gear doors, rudder, elevators, ailerons, flaps, engine turbines, beacon and navigation lights. Boeing developed the 757 in the early 1980s to replace aging 727s, resulting in an efficient two-engine passenger aircraft capable of carrying 180 passengers over 5000 miles. This single-aisle design was favored by airlines and the 757-200, the original version, began service with Eastern Air Lines in 1983.
