The model is constructed almost accurately to real-life sizes and features all materials and textures, available in various airlines liveries. It includes animatable components like landing gear, doors, rudder, elevators, ailerons, flaps, engine turbines, beacons, and navigation lights. Developed by Boeing in the 80s to replace ageing 727s, the 757 is an efficient two-engine passenger plane with 180 seating capacity and a non-stop range of over 5000 miles. The original version, 757-200, was first used by Eastern Air Lines in 1983. It has a single aisle running down the middle of the aircraft.
