The first jumbo jet, Boeing 747-100, carried nearly 500 passengers and debuted in 1969, serving from 1970. Its record for passenger seating lasted until the A380's service commencement. As the pioneer of the 747 family by Boeing, it accommodated 550 in a single class configuration. Significantly larger than the Boeing 707-320, this jet had 452 passengers in a two-class setup and 366 in a three-class arrangement. Introduced along with the DC-10 and L-1011 Tristar, it reigned as the largest passenger jet for 37 years. The lineage continued through -200, -300, -400, and now the -800/-8I versions. With a cruising range of over 5,000 miles and speed exceeding 550 mph at 35,000 feet, newer versions boast improved cruise, payload, and range figures. This meticulously scaled model comes with all textures and materials shown and features animateable elements like flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudder, landing gear, doors, and turbines.
