The Boeing 747-100 was the world's first jumbo jet, capable of carrying almost 500 passengers. First flying in 1969 and entering service in 1970, it held the record for passenger seating for 37 years until surpassed by the A380. As the pioneer of the 747 family, this iconic jet carried a maximum of 550 passengers in a single-class configuration and was more than twice the size of its predecessor, the Boeing 707-320. With seating capacities of 452 in a two-class arrangement and 366 in a three-class setup, the 747-100 dwarfed its contemporaries, the Douglas DC-10 and Lockheed L-1011 Tristar, and dominated the aviation landscape for 37 years. The 747 family continued to evolve with the -200, -300, -400, and the latest -800 or -8I version, each iteration boasting improved cruise, payload, and range capabilities. This highly detailed model features fully textured exterior and interior elements and includes animateable features like flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudder, landing gear, landing gear doors, and turbines.
