Boeing 737 Cockpit Knob
thingiverse
As a pilot, I'm excited to share that the most widely used knob in the Boeing 737 cockpit can now be replicated by any enthusiastic enthusiast thanks to innovative DIY design methods! After struggling to find a suitable substitute online as a dedicated flight simulator creator, I decided to get creative and designed my own from scratch with just basic knowledge of AutoCad. To achieve high accuracy and precision, it was printed using a 0.15mm resolution, coupled with an 20% infill setting that really makes it stand out! For extra reinforcement and added sturdiness, it features six large diameter holes - at exactly 6.8mm - situated at the bottom along with strategically positioned holes for two standard M3 grub screws, which is sure to come in handy when handling this intricate piece. Who knows? Maybe you're thinking of replicating your own aircraft? You can learn more about my own thrilling Boeing 737 project here: https://www.facebook.com/sum1els737
