I was determined to track down a custom vertical speed wheel/knob for my flight simulator's Multi-Function Control Panel (MCP) but came up empty-handed, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and create one from scratch. The wheel itself measures 40mm in diameter, with a precisely machined 6mm keyed center hole designed to accommodate either an encoder or potentiometer for seamless integration and control.
