This model has a nearly scale build with fully textured surfaces. It showcases plenty of exterior details that make it look incredibly realistic when flying animations are in motion. Control surfaces are designed to be highly animateable, including both inboard and outboard flaps, ailerons, elevators, and rudder components. The retractable landing gear can either retract or remove entirely from the plane, allowing landing gear doors to either close or come off completely. This model comes with textures and materials already in place as they are presented here. As a low to medium poly build, it consists of fewer than 17,000 polys. The Boeing 737 is a short- to medium-range twinjet airliner with a narrow body design. Initial releases for the first version of this model, dubbed 737-100, launched in 1965 and was put into service with Lufthansa as early as February of the following year. When it entered the airways, it stood out as the smallest version of all Boeing's aircraft from the 737 lineup to that point. The commercial market received an initial 30 units before the final delivery date set on October 31, 1969 was handed off to MalaysiaâSingapore Airlines and that proved to be the last remaining one of this type in operational duty as none remain flying commercially anymore. Over the course of more than 30 years since its maiden flight day with Boeing, their initial prototype now rests comfortably in a NASA-owned plane which later retired; an aircraft you can see at the Seattle's own Museum of Flight museum where many historical Boeing planes call home.
