The model, nearly identical to the actual plane, is intricately detailed and features animateable parts including flaps, ailerons, landing gear, landing gear doors, elevators, and rudder. It comes in eleven formats and various airline liveries. The Boeing 727, a mid-sized narrow-body three-engine jet, was popular for domestic flights and short/medium international routes. Both passenger and cargo versions were built, with the initial 727-100 launched in '60 and entering service in '64. Widely used until the 90s, the 727's efficient operation makes it a lasting aircraft; some are still in service today.
