The Boeing 727 model, built almost at actual size, features fully textured detailing and animateable components including flaps, ailerons, landing gear, doors, elevators, and rudder. Available in eleven formats and various airline liveries, this mid-size narrow-body three-engine jet aircraft was primarily used for domestic routes but also served short- and medium-range international ones. Passenger, freighter, and convertible versions of the 727 were produced. Launched in 1960, the initial 727-100 entered service in February 1964 and was widely used until the 1990s; some are still operational today, making the Boeing 727 one of the world's most economical aircraft to operate.
