The Boeing 717-200 was a variant of McDonnell Douglas MD-95 commercial jetliners following Boeing's acquisition of McDonnell Douglas. Designed for smaller passenger capacity (106-134 passengers), it could accommodate a maximum of 134 based on exit capability. The standard model had a range of 1,430 nautical miles, while the ER version with auxiliary tanks reached 2,060 nautical miles. The Boeing 717 moniker was reused from old KC-135 tankers (model 717-100).
