Available in multiple formats, this 717-200 model was a Boeing variant of the MD-95 jet commercial airliners produced after acquiring McDonnell Douglas. Intended for smaller capacities of 106 to 134 passengers, it had a standard range of 1430 nautical miles and an extended range (ER) version with two auxiliary tanks, reaching up to 2060 nautical miles. Powered by 20,000 lbf thrust JT8D-217C or the 21,000 lbf thrust JT8D-219 engines, it was Boeing's last narrow single aisle jetliner in production from 1999 to 2006.
