This high-quality, near-scale model boasts intricate details such as radio antennas and pitot tubes on its exterior, plus finished landing gear. It comes with all textures and materials, and features animatable parts including ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, landing gear, landing gear doors, and turbines. Ideal for in-flight animation, video or simulation purposes, this model can also populate airport scenes. Available in various formats, it's based on the Boeing 717-200 - a smaller capacity variant of McDonnell Douglas MD-95 jet commercial airliners produced by Boeing after acquiring McDonnell Douglas. The standard version had a range of 1430 nautical miles, while the ER or high gross weight version extended to 2060 nmi with auxiliary tanks. Despite being powered by JT8D-217C or JT8D-219 engines, production ceased in 2006 due to competition from regional jets like Embraer and Bombardier.
