The Boeing 717 earned its name from being designated and marketed as the MD-95 by McDonnell Douglas before the merger of Boeing with McDonnell Douglas took place. Derived from improved designs of the original DC-9, a project that originated in the 1960s through the 1980s, this aircraft boasts an impressive capacity to carry up to 134 passengers while operating from smaller regional airports. Featuring one of our more versatile low-to-medium poly aircraft models, the Boeing 717 was carefully built to scale.
