This high poly model is nearly scale and only a couple of percentage points off actual dimensions. It features detailed exterior with radio antennas, pitot tubes, and landing gear with moderate detailing. Fully textured, it comes with all materials and textures, and offers animatable features like ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, landing gear, landing gear doors, and turbines for use in in-flight animations or simulations. It's also perfect to populate airport scenes. Available in several formats, the model represents the Boeing 717-200 - a variant of McDonnell Douglas MD-95 jet commercial airliners produced post-acquisition by Boeing. With a smaller capacity of 106-134 passengers and maximum range of 1430 nmi for the standard version, the ER (high gross weight) version had an extended range of 2060 nmi with two auxiliary tanks. However, competition from Embraer and Bombardier Regional Jets led to reduced sales and cancellation of orders, eventually leading to production closure in 2006. Powered by a pair of JT8D-217C or JT8D-219 engines delivering 20,000 lbf or 21,000 lbf thrust respectively, the Boeing 717 was Boeing's last narrow single-aisle jetliner.
