The Boeing 717-200 was a variant of McDonnell Douglas MD-95 aircrafts after Boeing's acquisition of the latter. It had a smaller passenger capacity of 106 to 134 passengers, with a maximum of 134 based on exit capability. The standard version had a range of 1430 nautical miles, while the ER (high gross weight) version, equipped with auxiliary tanks, boasted a range of 2060 nautical miles. The Boeing 717-model number was borrowed from old KC-135 tankers. They were in production from 1999 to 2006.
