This meticulously crafted model replicates the Boeing 307, the first airliner with cabin pressurization, enabling flights above 10,000 feet. Featuring intricate engine details and animatable components like ailerons, flaps, rudder, elevators, propellers, and landing gear, it is available in various formats with all textures and materials included. As the first four-engine Boeing airliner, this aircraft was derived from the B-17C bomber, sharing identical wings, tail, stabilizers, engines, and landing gear. The innovative fuselage featured a low drag, aerodynamic circular shape for efficient pressurization and accommodated a spacious 12-foot wide cabin. Designed as a luxurious mode of transport in 1935, this aircraft could consistently cruise at 20,000 feet, minimizing weather delays and flying above adverse conditions. With a capacity for 33 passengers, it also marked the first airliner to require a flight engineer.
