Body Mount Spacers for Traxxas Slash 4x4
thingiverse
I designed the body mount spacers because I needed to adjust the front and rear stock body mounts, which are almost non-adjustable. The imbalance between the front and rear of the Traxxas Slash 4x4's original body was a major issue that required attention. I modified leftover parts from the stock body mount using extension body posts, cutting them down to size to raise the front end and achieve balance. This solution worked temporarily until I install the RPM mud flaps, but it wasn't enough - I needed to adjust the rear body mount further. However, this proved difficult, so I designed the body mount spacers to address the problem, making the stock body mounts adjustable in the process. To download the bottom mount spacers, you'll need screws that are at least 3x20mm or longer, depending on your vehicle's body. The photos and CAD file will give you an idea of how to install them. I've done my best to explain the installation process with photos, so enjoy these upgrades.
