McDonald's is offering a Trolls movie Toy with each Kid's Meal, which just so happens to be the head of the troll stuck on top of a pencil. The whole movie revolves around how the Bergens enjoy eating Trolls, making it quite amusing to give kids bodyless trolls to play with. We recently left the movies and grabbed a box for my son to eat at home. His expression when he opened the box and found the head but couldn't find the rest of the troll was not pleased. So Mom told him, "Don't worry, Dad will get you a body." I quickly hacked together a new body using Blender, nothing fancy. Then I printed it out and gave it a coat of paint. I'm sharing this quick fix with anyone who finds themselves in the same situation as me. You can print this little Suki or use it as a base for your own troll. Here are my print settings: Printer: Mini Kossel Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.10mm Infill: Full for the first 10mm and then 10% Notes: I printed this with a 0.4 nozzle and three perimeters, with a z-layer height of 0.10mm. For the first 10mm, I printed it solid to give it some weight on the feet, while the rest was printed with 10% fast honeycomb infill. I lowered the mesh by 0.5mm so the feet would be flat and didn't fix the mesh because I was in a hurry. I used supports and added extra support to the left arm since it's not attached to the body besides at the shoulder. It printed fine at this resolution in about three hours at 100mm/s.
