Body Camera Phone Mount (one size fits most)
thingiverse
Smartphones empower everyday people to hold bad behavior accountable, but holding up your phone makes you an easy target. This clever design lets you use your phone as a body camera and attaches it to your shirt, lanyard or backpack securely. You can also add an optional rubber band for extra grip, although this might make it harder to attach and detach your phone quickly. **6/18:** A new version (v0.83) has been released, featuring a wider range of motion in the shirt clip and spring, which now overhangs to avoid jaggies on clothing. **6/7:** A special Black Lives Matter edition is now available. This design fits most people comfortably. While PETG is preferred for its elasticity, a v0.73 PLA test model successfully held devices up to 80mm wide and 14mm thick in place. If you have a larger device, you can attach it from the phone clip to the corner for added stability. This design was tested with PLA and PETG using the following settings: 0.20mm layers, 20% grid infill, no supports, and brim build plate adhesion. You can also use it as a phone stand if you don't mind blocking a corner.
