Body Buffer for sawzall
thingiverse
My coworker from before handed me a new design that needs to come to life. This project requires using a Bi-metal Reciprocating saw blade with 6"/10tpi Medium cut specifications, specifically model number 209349 from ACE Hardware. To get it working, you'll need to trim the tip back by 2 inches and grind down the teeth until they're just visible. I drilled a hole on the side to secure the blade in place, but the tolerances are so fine that all you need is a gentle tap with a hammer to get it seated properly. My coworker seemed to like this one almost as much as she did the Drill project. To be honest, I don't fully grasp the intricacies of this design, but my role is to build it according to the specs. The metal ring at the end will need to be removed, as its sole purpose was for stability purposes.
