This abandoned car lies half-submerged up to its axles in the heart of Bodie, California's ghost town. The wooden wheels have long since rotted or been scavenged, leaving behind a rusting hulk that has frozen in time. Decades ago, this relic still boasted a radio and a car battery, which was cleverly positioned beneath it to conserve space. Plywood had been laid atop the springs of a seat to prevent snagging, while a bucket served as an impromptu beverage holder. One can easily picture someone spending hours parked in this car, listening to the radio's tunes and watching life pass them by - all from the comfort of a stationary vehicle that goes nowhere fast.
