The Bodeo Model 1889, also known as Pistola a Rotazione, Sistema Bodeo, Modello 1889 in Italian, is an Italian revolver named after Carlo Bodeo, the head of Italy's firearm commission. Produced between 1889 and 1931 by multiple manufacturers in both Spain and Italy, this model saw service with the Royal Italian Army during World War I, the Interwar Italian colonial wars, and World War II. The Bodeo comes in two distinct versions with only minor differences between them.
