Bodeo 1889 - Type A
pinshape
The Bodeo Model 1889 was an Italian revolver that bore the name of Carlo Bodeo, head of Italy's firearm commission. Produced by multiple manufacturers between 1889 and 1931 in both Spain and Italy, it served the Royal Italian Army during World War I, interwar colonial wars, and World War II. The Bodeo came in two distinct models with minor differences, showcasing its versatility as a historical weapon. Designed for precision, these models can be printed using FDM and SLA-LCD resin machines with minimal sanding required. Printed at 0.1mm layer height, they offer accurate replicas of the original gun. Based on my CAD reconstruction from original blueprints, these simplified models allow enthusiasts to experience building a piece of historical significance.
