bobovr m2 adapter for quest 3
thingiverse
I tried a couple models I saw on thingiverse and none of them worked.I decided to make my own with a mount similar to what the m3 has.The model is not great, and could for sure be improved, but I've tried it with and without the quest facial interface and I think it's good enough. To remove the official white protector of the m2, I used a screwdriver following a similar approach as in here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnvJHQh--BE&t=15sI put too much pressure on the white piece and the screw holding it all together snapped and broke, which is fine since we don't need that part.I saw this after and it looks like a safer way to remove the white piece (video in files):https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6267437I had to make the screw gap a bit larger after printing since otherwise it wouldn't fit.Used small 3mm drill to do so. The model isn't updated with a bigger gap, but maybe it's easier to modify it.Added the blender file in case anyone wants to modify/remix it.
