Bobcat Miner replacement cover with fan hole
thingiverse
This is a remix of @fatherofbeagle's replacement cover for the Bobcat Helium Miner, to include holes for mounting a 80mm or 120mm fan to the lid. The fan can be mounted using standard case fan mounting screws. I used a 120mm 5V USB fan powered by a 12V->3.3V buck converter (I lowered the voltage to slow the fan down a bit) spliced into the miner's power supply; I also replaced the miner's stock power supply with a 2A power supply I had laying around to avoid the fan stealing too much power from the miner itself (and also because I didn't want to modify the stock power supply). If you don't want to mess with wiring and don't mind using a second wall outlet, something like https://www.amazon.com/AC-Infinity-Cooling-Ventilation-Projects/dp/B009OXTWZI/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=ac+infinity+80mm&qid=1631503627&sr=8-4 would probably work well too (disclaimer: I don't own one so I can't confirm that it fits this model).
