Bobby Car Licence Plate

Bobby Car Licence Plate

thingiverse

Just a quick little design in Fusion360 for a license plate for a "bobby car" (if you don't know what this is, I don't know if those toys are sold in your country - Google "Big Bobby Car" and look at pictures). The specific design is made for the new version of the toy, but it should fit on the classic too. All parts can be printed without supports - the hole in the plate part might need a bit of file work on the upper part. The thread in the nut is 0.1mm wider than on the screw, and this works fine with my printer, but your mileage may vary. I printed out the name of my little one and used acetone to bond it to the plate. You can also engrave or emboss the letters into the plate as I did (not shown). I printed the letters in a different color and made them smaller/thinner by 0.1mm (I pushed the wall inward). Print orientations: nut - round side down; bolt - head side down; plate - plate surface down. Print time wasn't bad - I chose 200 microns, and the threads turned out great and usable - I didn't track it exactly, but 2-3 hours depending on your printer.
