Bobbling Tower of Pisa
prusaprinters
This is a Leaning Tower of Pisa bobble head toy. This toy uses a 3D printed base and spring and there is a recess in the base that will hold a 10mm magnet. The tower prints best upside down, supports are needed and you can use minimal infill (20% is fine).Bobble-Head Assembly Tips:The spring hole in the tower is slightly large to aid assembly, but you should also clean up the square hole with an exacto knife to insure clean assembly. Install the spring into the tower first (crazy glue is recommended). Use of the included spring tool is highly recommended as it protects the spring from being damaged. Finally, install the base onto the spring using pliers to seat the spring in the base (glue is usually not needed). The tower is based on the nicely done model by Utechlab (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1129396), with some dimensional changes I made. The spring and base used with this are courtesy of the excellent bobble head collection by 3d-printy (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5409630).Enjoy!
